Safety Program

Safety is very important to us at Southern Mechanical Contractors. That is why we have a safety director, incentive "rewards program", and a written safety policy.

We have a full time safety director that keeps us current and inline with all of OSHA's requirements. Part of his responsibilities includes for keeping our work force up to date with scissor lift, backhoe, ladder, and trench certifications. He also is able to prepare job specific programs as required.

Our rewards program recognizes our safe workers each year by presenting items such as shirts and jackets. These workers are recognized individually at our Christmas party and are able to accrue better prizes as they remain safe over many years.
